As an intermediate Spanish learner, music keeps me motivated. I like how Roxxem breaks song lyrics down line by line, so before long I’m learning a big part of the song. The biggest improvement I’ve noticed is in my listening ability. It’s as if the speakers have slowed down.

Teachers know that music is the way to a person’s soul. Roxxem has a nice way of breaking down a complex song into digestible nuggets, even for beginners. Roxxem is homework that my students actually look forward to, which is amazing!

This is one of the most useful and fun tools I use in my classroom. I tend to avoid other internet tools that “gamify” learning; but Roxxem “gamifies” music so well. The students hear the words and see the words. And the selection of songs is fantastic!

Hugo Xiong, the creator, is very responsive and thoughtfully considers questions and comments. He’s continually improving the platform. I’ve assigned the “sandbox” option for students to work on songs they choose — great for fast finishers or extra class time.
